This cru Beaujolais, from Moulin a Vent, is produced by the 7th generation wine grower Jean-Paul Dubost. Passionate about the quality of the fruit, the estate has been nurturing their vineyards using biodynamic farming since 2005. The wine is fermented with natural yeasts and made without sulfur or other additions, before spending 20 months in 500 liter oak barrels. Beautifully pure and clean aromatics burst from the glass, showcasing fresh strawberries, cherry and raspberry fruit complimented by gorgeous undertones of lavender and fresh violets. The palate is light, bright and balanced, as the flavors build and earthy notes of granite chime in on the finish. A stunning example of Gamay’s full potential.
